Daemon Tools
Osmo:
Do any of you use Daemon tools?
I basically got WC3 mounted it, then installed it, but when I try to autoplay it, and click play game when it's mounted it says please retry because there's no disk in the drive? Why is this happenening?
DaggerLite:
You can't run the regular game or the expansion if you use the wrong disc, if that's your issue. On another note, if patched, WC3 requires no disc to play.

I got the disks but they are not with me right now as I'm travelling. How exactly do you patch a game? I thought you mount the Iso image, install it and then play it?

DaggerLite:
It sounded like you had it installed already from the first post, and just couldn't play it (considering you clicking an icon to play the game). Is it not installed yet?
If it is installed, did you install it from your own disc and get the ISO from the net? Discs in different regions are different, and might not react to different installs. You should make an ISO of your own disc. If you have your CD key, you can associate it with your Battle.net account and simply download the no-CD patched game.
In order to patch it you must either download a patch file manually, or logon to Battle.net (which would require the disc the first time).
