I have iPad, it's actually reasonably easy to read off of it.  Good app for manga as well

I agree. I use ComicZeal.
VLC was recently accepted to the App Store too.

I prefer mine in digital. Takes up less storage space.

VLC as in the video playing app?  I can play MKV on ipad now?

VLC oesn't do MKV very well anyway though :-\
There must a be a reason for tanking things. And all must be in certain balance.
But what that balance is, must depend only on you, nobody else.

well, I mess around with what player I use, but CCCP is indeed very compatible

+1 for the Raven love, on the last boss now, should finish it over the weekend

on a related note I read mango on e-readers! (only the sony) it isn't quite as good as paper (but digital formats never are for me) but it's pretty good, still the best for pure text reading too

Something went wrong again :P

I hate scanned manga, it feels too unnatural since I've been reading paperback manga since I was a really young kid (5?)

I don't think I could really ever get used to torrented manga

I hear to truly master the quotes, one must train days on end with no sleep or food, only the occasional water from rainfall :P

Yeah, it's a long and difficult road to become a master, but it is worth it in the end, I think.

Just jumping into the topic...
At home I prefer paper for sure, but if I'm out of the house (work, traveling, etc), I loved the digital format.  I used a blackberry pearl, and once I got the zoom right, the ball made scrolling fairly easy.
*Manga like "Ghost in the Shell", with large detailed color pages, has to be paper.
Yup, it's a signature

A shame, you're totally missing out.  The water is the best part.

And the training takes place in the mountains because EVERY harsh training takes place in the mountains.

But yeah paperbacks are better in every way. I don't read my manga on the go so paperbacks are perfect.

I get headache when Reading/watching anything that is only Black & White...
...and also when you read the scanlations on coputer, you can't smell or feel the paper.
+If your computer(s) breaks down, How do you then read your manga? xD

What if the paper spontaneously combusts, or you spill concentrated acid or a lot of ink on it, or something?
