What if the paper spontaneously combusts, or you spill concentrated acid or a lot of ink on it, or something?

that is just impossible. I take care of my manga.

same

Stuff can still happen, what if your house burns down?  Or your sibling borrows it?

sry. I don't borrow my manga, It only leaves the room with me, if it leaves, and if they are destroyed by fire, it doesn't matter that are they on computer or on paper, both would be destroyed :P and yeah, stuff can happen, never claimed otherwise :P

Fixed...

Scanlations are nice when I'm just blazing through some long series, but at least for me, there's not re-readability whatsoever with electronic versions.

So when it comes to series I love and re-read a lot, I'll get them in paper, because it's so incredibly much handier when I want to just browse about and read favourite parts.

Wow a quote pyramid.
paper > scan
quantity + expedience > costly + slow + low availability
I think we've achieved some sort of balance here.

You can have plenty of quantity of paper manga, just order more.  It's not that much more costly, than say buying dinner.  Just stop eating to buy more manga.  I do agree though, a lot of series are not available.

She's your mom, she should do it for free.
