Well I use Vuze so i can assign torrent categories such as "watch", "save for a rainy day", "bonus points" this way all you have to do is keep your torrent client up and running so you can keep seeding and it will also allow you to keep track. But usually i just do what dbml does...

its rather simple either way lol.

Only issue with the brain is remember which ep you're on. Otherwise, it's pretty close.

Yeah, but then you have to actually search for what you haven't watched.

Or you could just use the recently played list on MPC.  It was like angels came down from heaven the day I found that :P

This is true, but only if you're watching several series at the same time. If you can't remember a single number... then you are in trouble :P

When I follow several airing series though, MAL is the easiest thing for me to keep track with. Just click a couple + signs after finishing the episode and blam! Done.

Why is that a problem? Having to scan through a huge list of series is a great way to find a series that you weren't thinking of, that you really want to watch again.

If I want to re-watch a show, I'll look for one to re-watch.  Otherwise I'll just stick to the new stuff.  I tend to set aside a certain time to re-watch something, usually with friends involved(of course that is just me).
