Aye - the youth of our days equally abuse, missuse and evelop the written language to something... else; if it be profound or shallow remains to be seen. So, keeping to the topic where I leapt in: "Are they both right?"
Following the conclusions being tossed I think we can narrow it down that it is both yes, and no; depending on who you ask, and how old that person is. Me being the "old" fart, in this matter, would probably (yes, probably - since I have gamed and hung around way to much on forums to not have had atleast some of all that language rub off on me) stick with: "När är det första avsnittet klart?"
While the youth of our day prolly would toss out with a jolly-good-toothed: "Så när fan är den första episoden färdig då?"
- the curse part being me picturing this question being aimed from the fed-up-rebelling-teenager to a broomstick-stiff-grown up. ;)

"Så när fan är den första episoden färdig då?", true true...
Well, I can't find anything more to say... so erm.. our conclusion is?
"It depends on the age?, and if you're an Internet fag that lurks forums etc all the time." XD
I think i will go ready some breakfast xD, Work starts soon, will start making some 720p raws more.. Epic! XD

Interesting, at least I got my awnser :P
It all started from one sentence...
but I choose the word ''en episod'' not ''ett avsnitt'' 'cause when I were reading the dictionary it sounded and looked beter when I were reading & pronounsing it.
and now one fact with finnish:
Olen huono jopa suomenkielen kieliopissa :P

Don't think there will be to many raised eyebrows if you choose that way to translate it.
But to respond to your finnish:
Kuka ei ole olemassa! (thank god for google translate! ;D )
Huomaa, että osa ei saa peittää!!! - Which more or less is one of the very few words every swede normally learns ;)
