Before you go off buying the R1 release or any DLing any rips of it, read
this thread.Long story short: it's shit. Letterboxed, aliasing, uses OVA OP/ED in place of TV OP/ED, the Japanese only gave them the censored TV version, overall LQ video, probably more problems that I'm forgetting about.
I'd previously had no interest in this show. But upon reading that thread, I was toying with the idea of releasing R2 rips under ReDone. Fortunately, there are translated untimed English fansub scripts out there, so the work I or anyone else would have to do is fairly minimal. Just timing, typesetting, a little editing, maybe some karaoke.
The problem is raws. The only raws I've been able to find for eps 5 and 6 are the TV versions. (They have the "Watch in a well-lit room at a good distance from the TV" warnings at the beginning, among other telltale signs.) I haven't seen them to see how much censorship they have, but I'd rather stick to DVD versions. So if anybody has uncensored R2 DVD-raws for 5 and 6, post them somewhere!
