If u won the lotto

i know what ur saying, and if I had really won the lotto I would do the same, but thats not what this thread is about...
if anyone here really won a lotto then I hope they would save most of it (which is actually why what I said I would do was basing it off less then half of the average winnings cuz I already knew in my mind I wouldnt spend it all.)
shit I never even won a lotto and yet I invest and save most of my income.

but ur making this thread sound like a seminar.
so I will say it again; what would u do, if u were financially stable to do anything that u wanted to do.?
I never intended this thread to become about financials, I would hope most of us know how to properly deal with a winning like that, so maybe the topic title was misleading u, i dunno
if  I need to explain it any more then I give up.

Few things that I would do in case of win.
A) Stay quiet
B) Give some money to my mom and dad
C) Take about 10 000€ and spent it on something nice (computer,xbox360,speakers etc that want to be upgraded,clothes,books)
D) Continue studying
E) Find a good account with high interest rate so I can steady flow of income. / Or just put rest of the money into a safe since the current financial situation doesn't look so good ^^

And I just wrote this before reading the last post.. Well in case I could do anything I want I would just buy hell loads of electronics, nice car, big/confartable house and then go travelling asia by foot or just travel somewhere around the world ^^

1) Keep working for a while, so as not to make my winnings obvious to everyone.
2) Buy myself a house with enough rooms for me and my other half to comfortably have our own studios in.
3) Pay off my parents mortgage, and give them funding for their new shop.
4) Live off the interest

I think I'd still want to work, or at least find something to do or I'd get really really bored. :/

- Give about 90% of the sum to those who need it more than me (seriously, what the hell would I do with such a huge pile of money?)
- Travel + live a normal life with the rest of the money

lol no its not. Powerball starts at 20million and it goes up every Weds and Saturday until someone hits the jackpot. Samething with Mega Million
