To be honest, not really... It's a nickelodeon show they decided to turn into a movie, right? Didn't grow up with it, so it's after my time. Age biased..  :D

You should still try watching it, it was really good.

I am excited for it, but my movie theater isn't preselling tickets yet -_-

Oh, I'm sure I'll see it. I'm just not excited to see it. Till just recently, I thought Avatar and Avatar the Airbender were one in the same. :D If I keep my expectations low, and the movie is a hit, then it's a bonus. Ignorance is bliss.

Ya for a American show it wasn't that bad i liked it so im looking forward to the movie. From what it looks like it will be a 3 part saga as long as its successful which im sure it will be.

i thought the series was awesome. esp the second season. But the trailer looks a bit goofy imo. Its tough ask to condense one series into a movie. One thing i really like about the series was the slow character development and light hearted comedy episodes and i guess that will be difficult to reproduce. So I'm not expecting the movie to be anything special.

It isn't the whole series.  It is set to be a trilogy.  I am guessing each movie will correspond with a season.

I like the works of Shyalaman (spelling?) so I will see what I'll do about it, especially since I have never seen the series^^

I knew nothing of the outside world. I was just a frog in a well.

I'm exited as well. I didn't watch more than a few eps of season 1, but I've have all three seasons downloaded. Funny show though.

I've seen the trailers, and I was worried a bit since An seems kinda baby-ish, but then again he didn't really look like a teen in the series.
Here's hoping it'll fly, and we'll get two more movies.^^

The show was decent and worth watching and the new trailers looks pretty good.
So it could actually be a really good movie. :)

the show was good, but the film...*sigh* I've been disappointed far too many times by films to be excited
There must a be a reason for tanking things. And all must be in certain balance.
But what that balance is, must depend only on you, nobody else.

Just got back from seeing this movie in 3D. It was really cool. I've only seen a few spotted episodes of the actual series, but I was drawn to the movie for some reason. I found it very artful and not at all just a 'kids movie'. 3D version was totally worth it too.

Just saw it and I didn't like it at all. To me they tried too hard and make this movie look good. They should have explained the story better and not rush into the main mission of the movie.

 :P

I'm seeing it this weekend.  I don't care if it's purely action/FX... the preview gave me goosebumps.  :o

I heard that nearly all the comedic elements from the series were stripped out of the movie. Is that true? The comedy was an integral part of the series :(
