it's a spectacle in the fact that it is the most well-rounded bad movie i've seen in a while.

I'm a long time viewer of the show. I think there was just too much bad publicity prior to the release of the movie for anyone to truly watch it and be unbiased. It's a shame, really.

I'll be seeing it tomorrow i dont care what people say about it ill see for myself. I know a lot of people say it was bad but i dont really care what they think people always complain.  :P

---------------------------------------------

Just saw it, it was alright i was expecting more but didn't get it. They really rushed the story and for people who dont know the story they're probably really confused.

I heard that nearly all the comedic elements from the series were stripped out of the movie. Is that true? The comedy was an integral part of the series :(
I'm not entirely sure the comedy elements would work as well as they did in the TV series. But I agree, it was due to that that I started watching some of it.

Series > Movie

Hated the movie after Soka said "I think there is someting under the ice." (approx. 5 minutes into the movie?) I practically yelled out "NO SHIT" and then it went even more downhill.

A shitty animated series, adapted to the big screen by the most overrated director of our time, and you guys thought it might even be watchable?

all that I can say is... well.... Fuck you Shamamalalan.

I would not go as far as saying that ... but the choice of director made me not want to watch this movie.

I watched and enjoyed the whole animated series.  My good friend Evo got me into Avatar.

Why?

Signs was pretty good. Village was pretty disappointing.. Unbreakable was pretty good. I heard The Happening was pretty crappy.

i heard from friends who saw it that if you watched the show and even remotely enjoyed it and respected the work as it was then you will fucking hate the movie. All that was said followed by the comment "and thats completely disregarding the 3 white kids in the middle of a completely non Caucasian cast"

Makes me sad and as well wanting to say "Knew it he would fck it up"
Anyhow.. Have to see it for myself before I judge.

Tho Imo they should've made a real serie out of it.. You can't cramp up that much in 3 movies...

No MOMO?
No Kioshi Warrior?

Okey?
...
But lol...
Seeing this and hearing this all.. And also seeing the 4.4 rating on IMDB, my greatest fear of the movie came true...
M. Night Shyamalan ruined the movie.... And i was soooo hoping he wouldn't... Was really afraid he would.. To bad he did :/

Well MoMo was in the movie, they just never said his name and his scenes were extremely brief.  And the went to Kyoshi if that matters >.>
