I didn't even know. I saw the end, and the credits rolled Shamamalalan or w/e and immediately I was like... "Oh... fuck me... I sat through that? It makes sense!"

Partway through, I kept thinking... "Did this movie get confused after copying aspects from like the 5th or 6th movie or something?

What the heck were you guys expecting from this movie? It was an adaption of a long, kids, western, culture confused, fake anime series. I know a lot of people really enjoyed the series, but it was marketed to 5-13 year old boys, had terribly childish humor, and had the most confusion of culture elements I've ever seen in a show. To expect an hour and 30 minute long movie like this to be good is just unrealistic. Has there ever been an adaptation from series to movie that was good? None that I can think of. If you want to see a truly 'bad movie' then go watch "The Room", then come back here and try to call this movie terrible.

And the went to Kyoshi if that matters >.>

But what about the warriors O_O
They are awsome !

but it was marketed to 5-13 year old boys, had terribly childish humor.

You only seen the first book I see....
Since the 2nd book and the 3rd book are more matured then the first book.
So I would scrap away 5-13... Since as well adults like this.
Perhaps the first book was for that, but not 2 and 3.

Childish humor? Or u mean major sarcasm from Toph?

The story was nice, and the fightings were copied from real arts.

So just since u don't like it, it doesn't mean u can go troll and say things that aren't really true Oo

Seriously. I thought the world was cool and all, but the whole "everything else" had issues. I don't follow the show, I got bored of it so it wasn't really a factor.

But I had friends laughing the entire time at how bad it was and they have never even heard about this TV series.

The Kids are confused, Zuko and the General are one of the only few competent ones out there. Water bending looked like rubbing a pregnant woman's stomach (wouldn't be too bad if they didn't keep repeating it so fucking much) and many fight scenes were pretty forced and looked more like an epic battle in American gladiator with participants almost scared to get hurt rather than an actual fight scene. (Hey, let's play with that giant Q-tip and spray it a few other colors and pretend to swipe with it, k?) Even the fights in Narnia weren't as bad.

Effects were cool.

3D was a fucking waste. Almost as lacking as Bolt. My buddy (who invited me) ranted forever. Biggest issue? "Should have just watched it normal instead of 3D and saved the money. I could have sworn the 3D stopped halfway through the movie.

That creature seemed like a modified cockroach mated with the fuzzy dragon thing from the never ending story AND copied the flying shit thing from "Monsters vs Aliens".

Chars were flat... but that's our fault for expecting anything, right?

Chars die. "Oh, were we supposed to care? Wait... who were you again?"

Fire nation just seemed more like douches than actual tyrants as the movie keeps on trying to get you to believe. Don't tell us shit and not enforce it.

Landscapes were unbelievable. One of the few things that actually kept me awake to continue through this movie.

The wave scene as seen in the trailer. Wow... that was the biggest flop I have ever seen ever. "ZOMFG run away! Water!"... Really?

Like I said before. This better be the Last Airbender

It's a CARTOON on NICK! Most, if not all, of the cartoons on Nickelodeon ARE pointed towards children and preteens. That's not to say that adults are forbidden to like it. Just because an adult likes something that is targetted towards a different age group doesn't mean the target audience changes. And by the way, people can say whatever the fuck they want to about anything. Don't troll someone for having an opinion.
And please, learn how to type.

Regardless of whom it was targeted to, the movie still sucked from many important facets. The worlds and CGI were cool, the acting was half there I guess... (Harry Potter started similarly so I won't rag on it), the story was fucked up and many aspects seemed like copies from elsewhere (namely that weird creature thing) not to mention much of it was... no where to be seen. (Like char development.)

I know it's a cartoon, but non the less the second and third book were more directed towards the higher-ups then the younger ones.
Second, I'm not trolling him and I said nothing about him that he can't have his opinion.
As I said "That ain't really true". He can say the whole show is crap if he wants and point out all the negative stuff about it that he thinks.. But dont say it's directed to "boys only" and stuff like that.. Because that is not true.

And I will learn better English next year for my future by getting a Cambridge Certificate.
But please by all means tell me what I wrote wrong sensei...

Edit:

PS.
If u are going to point out faults to someone else.... Please correct you're own spellings... It's Targeted
Seeing that it is you're native language and not mine =)

Lol, you mean the "u" where should be "you" ?

I got told by an old teacher that it is possible to subsitute the "you" for "u", only thing is that it's less formal then and more casual.
Correct me if I'm wrong tho.. Since I'm aiming to teach English to Japanese people next year =P

Back on topic please. I never really felt there was anyone hot in The Last Airbender. Good looking maybe, but not hot.
