Torrent requirements for 'seeded' staus [aware of bug]

(1/3) > >>

hi there, this is my first post here so ill begin with a word hello all :)

now to the bottom of matter
i cant figure out what are requirements for a torrent to get seeded status instead of Incomplete or something.
i am well aware of bug that messes things up but it just annoys me that i cant figure out what to do to have a chance to get something 'seeded'

i looked for an answer in FAQ and on forum as well but cant find it anywhere. i also checked tons of users with hundreds of 'seeded' torrents but cant find the common unique property for a torrent to be seeded.
it looks like seeded torrent can be even be 0 B uploaded, it also seems independent of ratio, upload, freeleech and so on. only variable that i thought that might have any influence is time but i cant compare it since it is not listed. when i stop seeding a torrent with ratio ~2.000 and like 10 GB uploaded it goes to Incomplete section. now i have no idea if thats bcos of bug or is the way it is supposed to be?

can some1 ease my mind and explain how to have, theoretically, a seeded torrent? what are requirements for a torrent to have a chance to be 'seeded'?

thank u all in advance and sorry if i double posted.

NELiXERY:
'Seeded' means it's reached a ratio of 1, according to the wiki. And I would've thought 'Incomplete' means you're downloading it but haven't downloaded all the data yet. That includes and samples, .nfo files, pretty much ALL the download files.

as far as I can tell:

1) 100% downloaded (obviously)
1a) that means 100% download from the BBT tracker
2) upload amount>downloaded amount

That's all I've got for you. However, some torrents in my incomplete section that are complete were stopped, due to improper client closings which mess with the tracker, at some point in the middle of downloading. Then there are the occasional glitches as you have already stated.

not downloading nfo's, sfv's, etc would also cause incomplete

ofc i am talking only about whole torrents that are 100% complete (with nfos, sfvs and so on).
the thing is none of urs suggestion seems to fit cos:
i am seeding 50 torrents atm and i stoped them to see the outcome and
11 is seeded 34 incomplete and 5 leeched. i can try to explain leeched tag cos of low ratio but those in seeded category and incomplete seem to be exactly of same characteristic... for example:
seeded: Clannad (SS-Eclipse | h264)   151 / 14   4.05 GB   279 MB   0 KB   ∞0.1x
incomplete: Ai Yori Aoshi (KAA | h264)   10 / 0   5.38 GB   851 MB   0 KB   ∞0.2x

so as you can see it is not matter of ratio >= 1 nor 100% BBT down nor "upload amount>downloaded amount"
i rly dont get it... seems to me it is just random between seeded and incomplete. is this how the bug truly works?

i would very much appreciate some staff member to take part here.
once again i KNOW of a bug so i am asking theoretically about this
at the end id like to thank you all for posting @ my thread

Southrop:
For a torrent to be classed as "Completed", you either have to have all of the files (100% hash check) or download the missing files from BakaBT. When the client reports the torrent as 100% complete, the torrent is classed as Completed.

However, as you know already, we have an ongoing bug that will incorrectly display torrents in the Incomplete, Leeching and/or Seeding section. It's a rather low priority fix since it isn't crucial to the working of the site.
