Dammit D:
I wish I saw your face now XD

this ep was so-so, still entertaining XD

did anyone notice Ryuumaru going downhill since about ep 7 or so when they switched their translator?  Ive finally caught up ont he episodes and compared Ryu, Ayako and TZM back to back (though TZM isn't at 9 yet).

The ayako timing thing is too big a pain. Sub wise thoguh they seem to be improving. The later episodes are better than the earlier ones, while Ryu seems to be getting worse as it goes along =P Plus their typesetting for signs is too tiny and really hard to read when you throw it up on a 60". TMZ is kinda blea. They have typos and other problems. They seem to try to edit their dialog a lot and it works sometimes, othertimes their subs just seem way off and make no sense. I have to got hrough my notes and see who had the most flubs. I'll probably wind up posting the examples on ADB.

2 things about the codecs to get Ayakos release working though:

about the CCCP thing. Should i just d.load it here?
http://cccp-project.net/

I heard theres a beta version or something, where is that? Also, i cant remember if i should use the build of MPC bundled with the CCCP or actually go and manually d.load MPC HC seperatly here
http://mpc-hc.sourceforge.net/

I recall back when i last updated there was problems with either stand alone MPC or the one that came with the pack.. i think it was standalone, and the one with the pack worked better. I want to try updating and seeing if it fixes the problem with ayako's release because i may switch over to them, but as it stands now the hang ups on a lot of the stamps are absurd

Anyway: To those who say episode 9 of the show... did anyone get what was up with Shino when she grabbed Tsuda for the scavenger hunt?  She getts all embarased when he asks what it said and says she wont tell him.. then ...

Ryuu has hata saying:
"Are they getting closer"

and then no further translation despite the fact that hata is saying something in the backround in the following scene while taking photos of him

Ayako has:
"Is this supposed to be an event flag?"
then in the following scene only a couple lines are translated instead of the whole thing. she also says:
"Oh my so this was the real flag?"
"can't sell these then..."

wtf? These are two totally different things, and im not even sure what Ayako is trying to convey there, it seems like kinda a mess. Anyone have any idea what was going on there, and if Ayako was just totally wrong with this scene?

I was also wondering about the red string bit earlier on.. Neither one makes any sense but i seroiusly doubt Ayako's is right.. heres what they had

Ayako:
Shino:"Well if you had a red scring they would keep telling you everyday: your vagina is so wet and dripping it looks like strings coming out"
Tsuda:"Yea, sure"
Hagimura:"Have you given up objecting to her!"

Ryu:
Shino:"The red string of fate huh? If such a thing really did exist...  You'd probably get told to pull the red string from down there every day"
Tsuda:Yea"
Hagimura:"You're not gonna talk back!?"

Neither one makes much sense, but i think maybe Ryu was trying ton convey some joke about grabbing a bloody tampon? I dont know i totally missed the point. Ayako's makes no sense at all and i dont think is even close. Anyone have any idea what they were actually saying there?

Shina didn't reveal what was in the card, Aria said that probably cuz of the mood and how embarrassed Shina went, I can bet my breakfast that it was something common, but Shina went with her habits and did something silly again :D

I was amazed that Aria removed her chastity belt for the day, pretty damn interesting :]

This was a pretty fun episode but not as funny as the usual :]

I really have to start watching SYD before Mitsudomoe :]

Ayako's translation was pretty clear - you do know what an event flag(in VNs in this particular reference) is, right Kenshin?
As for the string: red string of fate is the mythical connection between two destined lovers, and the perverted part of the joke is based on vaginal lubrication(or cervical mucus) of an aroused female.
Picture related:

Or it could be even more perverted joke if you include the "red" part too, but I don't think so.

Anyway, Seitokai Yakuindomo continues to be highly entertaining week after week.
Also, I love Suzu.
That is all.

Haha I'm SO curious what actually was on the card!!!

This series is just keeping on being deliciously humorous, it's the "Seitokai no Ichizon" of this summer imo :)

noway! Seitokai no Ichizon wasn't close to this one, I really wonder what was on the card, we can only guess though, it could be anything funny or silly, or maybe she did something serious for once :]

errr.. what are you talking about? Aria had nothing to do with the flag scene.  I was asking what the deal with the card joke was and what Hata was saying.. the translations were very different, with one mentioning something about an event flag

No, i dont really know what an event flag is. Im assuming the main flag used in the competition. But i dont really get the reference unless its suposed to be some kinda penis joke I just missed. And the 2 versions are very different, im not sure if she even mentioned the event flag, or if theyre just wrong and ryu had it right or what.  It still leaves the question of what the hell the card said, lol too bad. I wonder if the manga will expand on that. Too bad its translation is way lagging.

@ the string part... lol.. WOW almost TMI there for the string joke. Ok that makes more sense then. I knew what a red string of fate was, but the 'strings' part didn't really click when i just thought of a chick getting wet. The red part was throwing me off too. The way it was worded was kinda screwy i guess. Ayako's kinda closer in the end.

ya im lovin this show. I may be switching to Ayako though since Ryu seems to be falling apart and has been going downhill since ep 07. That timing problem is very annoying though

I really gotta get crackin on Mitsudomo too. ive read the manga thats translated so far, but havent watched the actual anime yet since the group i had initially grabbed disbanded >_< Maybe i'll go with FFFpeeps or something though i didn't like what i saw on ji-hi. blea, dunno. The lack of a single good translator on this series has me not wanting to compare like 3 groups for that series as well

Event flags are terms used in dating sim games, when deciding which route (girl) to take. The choices can be rather vague however like going to the shop or staying at home. More specifically though it is when the options for the girls not aimed for have been closed.

P.S I didn't find ep 1 of Mitsudomo all that funny,

Does it get better, should I give it another chance?

ROFL that is a bit odd. That scene in the sig is from episode 3 or 4 if I remember correctly. Maybe just a cool pic found online...

Anyway, Mitsudomoe is so beyond hilarious it breaks the chart. Only a hand full of shows are on par or surpass it.

yea, its pretty funny, I just wish there was a bit more to it.
My fave part of ep10 was the scene at the bench near the end. I know I am kidding myself if I want it to develop into anything tho, I am sure.

I can definitely see them trying to go on a date sometime before the final 13th episode. And of course Hagimura will be a little jealous since she obviously likes Tsuda but her height complex keeps her from saying anything. And Aria will also have all kinds of sexual ideas regarding them...
