I'm following Ayako because they're the fastest. I'm cool with missing some jokes because frankly I wouldn't know what I'm missing. I don't know Japanese well enough. :3
The suggestion box joke was fucking hilarious, though ;D

ya thats the problem Ryu's translation seemed to totally miss the point of the sugestion box joke. As far as Ayako goes they seem to throw in more foul language than is needed and some of their translations just sound way off.
I also noticed Ryu seems to have stalled and will be picking up a new translator for the later part. Blea. Other than just who comes out faster im really wondering which ones teh best bet. At least from the first epp they were all over the place with missing jokes. You really had to watch all 3 to get them all

To those following Ayako:
WTF is up with the video??? It seems the timing is way off in a lot of parts. I dont mean the subs, i mean the actual video. A lot of the time on those little info stamps you get between scenes, the video slows down and the audio starts rolling while its still on there. I have v2's of their episodes but i still see it. Its especially bad in episode number 02 it stalls really bad at about 7:07-7:17, 8:48 17:19. I recall ep 05 being bad too with some at 12:10 18:00 19:25
Im pretty sure its not my computer or codecs. None of the other versions do this. and I've never had this problem with any other show. Is anyone else getting this? whats the deal?
well ive been watching the 3 groups back to back. Ayako, ryu, and TZM, and actually making notes on problems between the 3 =P I'll comapre them all when im done but so far it seems Ayako has some timing problems, as ll as leaving a lot of stuff untranslated (Ojou-samma) and using excess foul language. Their op and especially ED have a hidious unreadable font too. TZM seems to have a few timing issues as well and seems to really screw up some of the translations (totally missed the abalone vagina thing). They do seem to try to make their dialog more 'natural' but seem to fail a lot in keeping the jokes in tact. Their font is friggin hideous as well. Ryu seems to strike a middleground between the two. With decent timing, but some clunky dialog. They seem to translate the most signs, ect. And they're the only ones that explained the 3-p joke
so im not sure which im going with right now. I'll have to compare more side by side but since Ryu doesn't seem to be still in it i think Ayako is leading right now.. except for the really screwed up video timing problem. Unless that gets fixed i really am not sure what to go with. I wish a decent group would pick this show up. Ayako used to do some half decent work in the past, what happened to them?
oh ya, and does anyone get that scene with Hagimura storming in durring episode 01 that i mentioned in my last post? none of the groups really explain it and it makes no sesnse.. i think it was a joke about menstration?

this happens with most releases that haven't been encoded properly (read, they were encoded too hard and the bitrate is a bit off) I wouldn't worry about it though.
Edit:
I dunno what to worry about in this show, about Tsuda or Shina being too perverted, also, I long ago questioned the advisor for this Student Council, at the very least, for their perversion, they can always blame the advisor hahahaah :D
