I read a little bit of the manga this was based on a little bit ago and it was really funny. I didnt notice they were making it into an anime until I noticed the first episode was out. The first episode was good. If they stick to the manga ill follow this as its a funny series.

Whose subs did you pick?

I knew nothing of the outside world. I was just a frog in a well.

Watched Rave Subs at first, but they have a lot still to learn. Punctuation and timing issues, wrong use of TL notes, and so forth and so on. Their newbie status is clearly showing.

Both FFFPeeps and SubDESU have released it now too, so take your pick.

think l'll go with FFFpeeps, they showed a lot of improvement over the past few shows lately, subdesu made a few annoying mistakes a while ago and it made me meh about them for a while.

Yeah, I plan on going that way too. I'll probably give SubDESU a try, but I'm not expecting much.

Just finished watching and I must say, I was not expecting much from this show but I will definitely be following this one.

It's like they took the best from Kyō no Go no Ni, Lucky Star and Baka To Test Shokanju and just for good measure threw in a little sadist to round it all out. Pure win combo...

Though all the characters look really fucking weird.

Am I the only one who thinks this?

Also, I like how all the background characters seem to have a bit of personality.

Like the kid who had 3 girls oggling the whole episode.

If you referring to the rounded faces (more than normal) and the shiney rosey cheeks all the characters seem to have, I believe the artist just wanted to emphasis the cuteness of those little children to enhance the appeal to each character. For me it worked perfectly.  :D

They don't look cute to me.  They look...creepy.

By the way, the adults are drawn in the same style.

true, it gives the show a bit of a different feel for that, but, that doesnt detract from how funny it actually is.

I initially had very low hopes for this show, but after watching first ep I really think this is one I will follow.

The youngest reminds me of a mix between Setsuna from School Days and Yuki Nagato
