It works like that with uTorrent, not sure about other torrent clients.

Where is there a files tab? I didnt see anything like that anywhere. I also Right clicked on almost anything as well, to see if there was a option to relocate.
in uTorrent its here;

right click on those files and you will get an option to relocate.

But it still doesnt work like it says. Im gonna keep at it for a bit though.

Once you have completed relocating all the files that need to, you need to tell the torrent client to re-check the files in the torrent. it will then do a hash check of all the files and pick up the relocated files

I did all that, now it says there are no seeders, or leachers, the progress is at 0.0% still and there isnt even a status for the tracker anymore.

did u hit start? aka are u seeing a green check mark or a green up arrow (or neither I spose)

btw if the progress shows 0% then it likely didnt relocate / recheck properly or you would be seeing 100%

Wow, I know exactly what the problem is... I downloaded a second version of the series, and deleted the one I got from BakaBT.... I didnt realize it at first But the baka BT one was only 5.14GB's, and the one I have is 12.2 and how I noticed was looking at the file tab it said the episode was around 230mbs, while I remember seeing the one in the folder around the 500 area... Well, i learned a whole lot about what to do to try and seed, but I'm not sure if I have anything else too seed... Gonna check back on that, and do this whole fun process again if possible...

dont forget that bakaBT isnt the only place to find files that you can also seed here.

Yeah, I noticed a lot of my other torrents I was DL that stopped had trackers for here. If I can find something Ill try and see if I can get it to work. As it stands for what I already downloaded..... i'm kinda screwed there. Im transfering another file from my external drive in hopes of fixing the problem, but I have a tendency to chance filenames (get rid of the sub groups name in the main file to make it in alphbetical order). Ill look for something else too, I really do like this site, just forgot about it for a year...

there is nothing wrong with renaming the files, that is the point of relocating. name doesnt matter as long as its the same file.

yeah, but it makes it hard to tell if that was the original one I downloaded or not. Like for Ergo Proxy, the one I got from here was HD (as it said), the newer one I got was better quality and had more to it. I found the second series I downloaded, put it in my DL folder, got the torrent file from the side, changed the folder name back to what it was, and it did the check on its own as soon as I put it on there. But....Its not seeding. It says seeding, but theres apparently noone to seed to or something. I dont care what it is, or if I even already have it, if someone knows a site that has a torrent that has BBT as a tracker as well, id appreciate it. Just want to get my fail ratio fixed.

Heh, yes, the files have to be exactly the same. I assumed that was the case as well.

And uTorrent and Official BitTorrent have the same interface, or so I've heard, past a certain version. Just in case you didn't realize that.

I dont care what it is, or if I even already have it, if someone knows a site that has a torrent that has BBT as a tracker as well, id appreciate it. Just want to get my fail ratio fixed.

There's no other site that hosts BBT torrents because the torrents require passkeys.

However, there are people who upload publicly downloaded BBT torrents onto sites like Isohunt, TPB, etc. You can tell because one of the trackers will be (month).bakabt.com:whateverwhatever, where the month denotes that it is a public torrent and is valid for only that month. If someone leeches this publicly downloaded torrent, whether or not he/she is a member of BBT, it does not count towards his/her download stat, but it counts towards seeders' upload stats.

So if you feel like it, you can try "fishing for leechers" in a sense, by uploading public torrents to Isohunt and TPB and Torrentportal, whatever. Just make sure it is a public torrent; i.e. a torrent you downloaded while not logged in. If you submit a private torrent, you run the risk of account hacking.

Of course, it's not exactly the best way to fix your ratio. Then again, you might have meant something else with your question. If you just wanted to know where to find stuff elsewhere that you can seed on BBT, you'll have to look around, because everything on BBT had to come from somewhere, and 90-ish% of the time it's from the Internet. That was for the most part what I was asking. I'll definatly do some looking around, This site has some stuff I really wanted to get... Short Term memory fail, is fail... I want to thank you again, you have been extremly helpful, and easy to understand, which is something that is becoming rare online lol. I learned a bit more about my torrent program too which was kinda interesting. Ill keep trying to get it fixed. Again, Thanks Freedom Kira, and everyone else that tried to help.

No prob.

BTW, use the Wishlist to keep track of stuff you want, if you can't remember it otherwise.
