Yeah, most of the time it's common sense so most people just skip it. And I don't think anyone ever asked you to memorize anything, just review if you forgot.
The member of staffs rudeness was a kneejerk response to the word banned. Which makes her/his reply all the ruder.
Not really, it was only that one point out of four that he made. There are also people who waltz in here scared of being "banned." Like, all the time...
I think I will go learn how to look after a torrent and mebe adopt a few. If there is anything else you need help with send a PM.
Just so you know, that doesn't really improve your ratio all that much. Having adopted torrent A doesn't mean torrent A will be leeched more.

I think it's every three months, give or take a week or so, from the pattern. It is largely blind luck, though, to be able to donate in the small timeframe that donations are open. I was only ever able to donate back when donations were always open.
Is it really so bad to seek alternate contributions like this? Unless of course you meant that by downloading so much I didn't understand what I was doing. In which case see above for my opinion on snide remarks. If I did not understand that I was taking more than I was giving I would not be bothering with the post.
FYI most "ratio fixing" info can be found in the Wiki, though perhaps a bit hidden. That includes seedboxes, reseeding downloaded stuff, donating, etc.
As a side note a spider egg sack has just hatched above my computer location. They are dropping on my head and crawling in my hair. Not that I mind but I was just thinking blimey it's good I am not an arachnophobe or I would be scarred for life.
