I thought it was generally accepted that when you are asked to read something, you are also to remember it, and if you don't remember it you are to review it... Maybe not in your part of the world?

I also don't think anyone here was being snide. Don't chastise others when you misinterpret genuine helpful comments. Also, don't complain about being told off for asking a question when the question has been asked hundreds of times before, and as stated on the posting guidelines, you should be searching the forum for your answer before asking the question. Believe it or not, we are also people with lives and also have more important things to worry about, and we don't sit around here just to answer your questions. The ones who are here are here voluntarily in their own free time. That's my assumption, though, correct me if I'm wrong.

Do you have any idea how many sites want you to memorise their particular rules? maybe in a complete fantasy world I would have enough time to do so. But in this one I am afraid I do not. I would point out two posters managed to give me all the information I needed. Sorry for taking up space on you're board that was swamped with activity. I will be donating to the site to cover my upload once donations re open. As I am guessing the people who run this show need money more than seeders atm. Since all torrents I downloaded seemed riciculously well seeded. Still I really do like this site despite the forum hounds being a little too keen to show their teeth. Once again I will point out as well that the phrase "banned or anything" refers to bad forum related stuff happening. The member of staffs rudeness was a kneejerk response to the word banned. Which makes her/his reply all the ruder.

While I am at it shall I memorise the terms of service agreement for every game I buy? sheesh!

I want to get involved in the site beyond simply "paying what I owe" maybe I didn't make that very clear in my initial post but that was my intent and wether I made it clear or not is still no excuse for being rude. Please read the rules if you have not is a completely different sentence than READ the damn rules! If I had made multiple posts on this matter or asked in a rude or unintelligable way but I did not. Just because someone is a member of staff and has authority does not excuse them from simple manners. Nor does it make them immune to misunderstanding posts based on a quick flick through. I think I will go learn how to look after a torrent and mebe adopt a few. If there is anything else you need help with send a PM.
