Well to be fair for most people myself included I think have a hard time trying to wrap my brain around Vampires. You forget Havoc Ignorance is Bliss its the human way even if the facts are there all pointing towards Shiki there are going to be people who will dispel it with all there might because Logic says there are no such thing as Vampires so I can understand his way of thinking.

yeah but for people from a big city to think (click to show/hide) (at least the mother said it and he agreed) that he is just a rural village doctor, what can he know about diseases ?
you can be ignorant to a certain level, (click to show/hide) but your kid is one a verge of death and you didn't even contact a clinic about it cuz he says he is OK?don't give me that crap please.
