because despite the fact that the doctor, junior monk, and others know what is happening, they don't do anything. They just wait as others perish. I mean crosses, holy water, anything?? 

I thought maybe they would have banded together by now and plotted in secret to put up some sort of defense. Just you know, before there is no one freaking left ^_^.

I'm pretty sure you have seen ep13? The next episode (in which the doc's having an appearance) will be propelling the story quite a bit.

at helping out, his father is the best in it, so ignorant that he invades his own son's privacy and helps the vampires out, and his mother is being drained as well lolol, that father is the biggest shithead in this show, the level of his fail breached the latest borders anyway, but he is so blind he doesn't even notice his own wife is not feeling well, there is limit to being an ignorant.

People on MAL who have read the manga, keep semi-spoiling things for people,(no spoiler tags) so I know that the doctor is finally going to do something- as to why the monk doesn't, I kind of think it is tied into the vamp girl who is always visiting him. I just didn't want Natsuno to become one of the risen, and why he just let himself be a blood bag when he was so strong before, I can't just explain it away because they were friends. I look forward to episode 14-it will be nice to see some action on the human side! I agree about the dad, but I can also see how no one in their right mind would so easily believe in vamps, but he should have been watching him simply because of his so called illness, and that would have thrown in a wrench into the blood draining.

There was a person with normal hair o.0 I wonder, is the doctor going to go Buffy? Considering how the anime has been going to far, I wouldn't really be surprised if Natsuno got cremated, but I think he'll turn and try to work something out from inside the shiki.

I'm dropping my first Anime show and not going to finish this even if finishing this would save the world from total destruction, over half the season wasted on idiocy of adults, brainless thinking of peasants, and bashing those who try to do something with a sledgehammer of ignorance, the next episode will likely be about morality of the doctor and the priest being against what he did, no I did not watch the preview, and I no longer care, i wish you guys who like this show to enjoy it as you please.

for those who even care, I earlier dropped one show but after a year I finished it, barely, gritting my teeth from watching the slaughter of common sense and lacking even the slightest of fan service which would redeem the show somehow, but I finished it, i will never even plan on finishing this stupidity.

Megumi was this show's the only redeeming factor, but she is so rarely shown it's a waste of time and disk space, i will not rant about my bandwidth, I chosen to follow this show, no more.

If you like this show, try to enjoy it as much as you wish.

Looks like Natsuno is going to join forces with the doctor, but I guess we can't count on Junior Monk as he thinks it will be murder. And Lady Gaga is missing more of her wardrobe, and Mrs. Kirishiki has them! Must be super casual day at the office! But at least we know why the doctor is off limits, she wants him for dinner ^_^

it's headed to everyone getting killed/turned. I mean, there's not many people left in the village. The monk won't do anything to help... so it's just down to the doc and Natsuno. Can't really see how those two alone could take down an entire village of vampires. Though they are smart, so you never know.

And the doctor experimenting on his wife, damn! That was sweet.

That was a sweet episode though I was quite surprised to see that Natsuno was already declaring in this episode his intentions to Dr. Ozaki. I had expected it to be a bit later but well, that doesn't make it bad.

And lol at the scene in the cafe. "We received the baptism of modern rationalism." <- So much to "Why are they all so dumb." I'd say someone else here is the dumb one or rather naive one.

Next episode will be important. I think a lot will like it (and for me it's going to be new stuff as the chapters from this point on haven't been released yet. The worst is that there are scanlated chapters around 30 onward >_> and there are missing chapter beginning with 24)

I'm angry at the junior monk. Killing shiki is murder. Shiki killing humans isn't? Well, according to creepy little girl it isn't and that makes it ok to do nothing. The heck.

The suspense is the worst. Every episode I'm waiting for something to happen (pitchforks! torches!), but nothing good ever happens for the humans, they just keep getting killed and turning. I don't think I can take it much longer.

Havoc, I think you have a genetic disposition towards favoring female characters that are either psychopaths or just plain bitchs.

I thought Megumi was an annoying shit in ep 1, so I was glad when I thought we'd seen the last of her after she just suddenly died. Then she made her reapperence as a vampire and she's been annoying me ever since. She also graduated from an annoying bitch to a sadistic fucker who enjoys causing suffering.
