Afraid? Where was it ever said that he's afraid? They don't need any more attention as it is. More attention would mean more risk of exposition and failure of the plan.

A bar keeper notices that people around him start to die one after another. Do you start to investigate? I doubt that. Or does a run of the mill barkeeper has the skills and knowledge to do that? I doubt that.

At worst we kill what we don't understand? Tell me. How do we kill something of what we don't know what form it has or what it is at all? For the people it is nothing else but an epidemic. They have no clue that it is the Kirishikis.

I still like the show, I just admit that I was hoping for some good guy ass whopping in the last episode, and I don't think I am the only one.

Does anyone else think that maybe Natsuno was luring Tatsumi away for some reason that we don't yet? I kind of got the impression he knew he was being followed. Maybe the doctor giving in, and that chase scene is some plan they cooked up between them to throw off suspicion as they know the doctor is being watched.

Aww, they could've shown a bit more before creating the cliffhanger. Because the following scenes would have built up enough suspense for the next episode.

^ True, but all this development leading up to this, is what made this episode so sweet, otherwise it would be like other action shows.

I like Natsuno's new dress style. Its rather out there and awesome. Same with Megumi actually. Anyway, this episode was rather a surprise. I went into it after seeing the last going,

but thankfully it was a nice episode. I had a feeling that it would end up like that at the end of the previous episode but I couldn't think how it would happen exactly.

My only thing is that I have actually fallen in love with the Shiki. I would much rather the Shiki win at the moment. They are all so awesome and all the villagers are just... naive and stupid.

Overall its a rather enjoyable series and I am glad I picked it up early. The progress has been less about trying to guess who they are and more about guessing who is next and what is the next strategy. High grades from me.

okai. im on episode 3.

and so far. this show seems like it has potential.

but the main character (natsuno) is sort of a bitch. always bitching and not being honest about whats on his mind. lame ass character.

then theres the weird skinny guy. looks poorly drawn. ugly as fuck. defiantly a character i dont want to have to look at in 720p.

well there it is. i called it like i saw it.

okay episode 17. alot happened....not really
now im starting to feel the some way i feel when i watch lots of other anime. like the've been dragging it out for far too long, and its just become frustrating to watch.

oh but i do like natsuno's new clothes. its not "out there" he just looks like he knows how to dress. especially those pink shoes (they look like nike dunks).

Personally, I was wondering whether Seishin would drag Sunako outside into the light with him ... but I guess if the cellar isn't discovered, they'll move to that old church at night.

Hm, looking forward to what's going to happen with Natsuno in the next episode. Tatsumi beefcake? Ew. Whoever said that has no taste.

Was surprised by the turn of events. Did not expect it to go this route. I like it though.

this show turned from stupid to funny, maybe both, so they all know about Shiki, and the few guys still don't want to do anything, call the cops ! yeah that is brilliant, seriously, why they didn't kill that guy ? cuz they knew he was an idiot and no help at all, waste him in the sewers !

Kaori was awesome, was that her father at the door ? thumbs up girl, using brain at last, silencing the dog with a kick, although unstable, at least a second person who is using modern logic, Dead > Walking > Make sure it stays Dead and stops Walking > POP HEADS !

Kaori becomes my fav in this show, I feel bad about the Shiki Nurse, will she break ? or die ? I wonder.

yeah kaori is the only person on the show who's responded correctly to her family becoming vamps. i wonder what she will do when she sees her brother.

im glad the show went down the path it did. its actually getting better. cant wait to see what happens next. i hope the were-wolves can actually transform though, that would be awsome.

this series really likes to twist things. From my perspective it's trying very hard to make the villagers look like the real villains here, and the vampires the bunch who are just 'trying to survive.' Which is ballshit, they are ruthlessly preying on the villagers, killing by bleeding (sucking?) people dry, expanding their numbers and trying to make the village theirs. While they were still unknown to the villagers they pretty much did as they pleased while maintaining the need for secrecy. Now though the villagers are in a position to fight back and they get painted as the bad guys? I know the villagers have basicly formed into a mob, which is never a good thing, but I think it's perfectly fair that they are now able to fight against the vamps.
