I'm with you on that, Nikran. I kind of miss that debate in the anime - I mean, shouldn't there be at least one character who tells Sunako off just like that? I get really uncomfortable when she goes on and on about "why is it bad? I didn't want to be this way wah wah", because like green-haired nurse, the shiki do have a choice (blood conserves kinda come to mind as well).

yeah man. im starting to think the vampires are stupid anyway.

i would just tell wolf-man to take them out one by one during the day time.
and white suit, vampire supporter got so easily distracted from his kills....idk man.
it just seems like there intelligence flew out teh window.

im ready for some humans to die again, i didnt know vampires could be that weak.

i was gonna give this show a look but i was wondering, whos the best fansuber to go with? I see umee's rated at the top but they're doing a very medicore job with Kuragehime. Do they even sub this show though, or just use CR/Funimation script rips and futz with them a bit?

I dont recognise any other group other than commie who is way behind. ANd they are rated pretty piss poor (theyre stuff is usually hit or miss from what ive seen). So what are you guys watching?

umee is the best ive seen.

crunchroll/funisubs = shit. i watched one today, and deleted it after watching. terrible terrible.

umee is definatly the best ive seen so far. idk about Kuragehime, but i think there doing good with shiki (or at least the best doing it)

doesn't Umee just use edited CR scripts? Or do they actuallyf ansub. Their Kuragehime sub appears to be slightly edited (for the worse actually) funimation stream scripts. You mentinoed you watched a CR sub and it was crap, did you actually compare it to the umee script of the same epp?

well its not so much the script as it is the encoding, and the quality of the subs.

i did compare them somewhat though. i like the umee script better.

The opening of 21 was good, in a dark way. The monk's explanation was interesting. I have to rewatch that in a given time.

I can't wait to see the finale in 22.

I was kind of hoping for some type of epic showdown, but everyone has seemingly becoming considerably less badass than previously shown. Not that there were any truely badass characters to begin with, but still.

1st place:
Megumi's death, when did she grew such large breasts ?
head splatter was awesome.

2nd place:
Werewolves Death, idiot gay and a guy who just doesn't care.
Dynamite thing was pretty awesome idea.

3rd place:

the entire show was pretty stupid to begin with, it ended in the same stupid way sort of, there is irony littered all over this show however, also a good question about religion, and it's pointless existence.

Pretty sad Megumi died though, I think of all characters in this show, she was the most normal person around, even if she was stupid as a sea slug, if she went to the pron movies she would make a fortune, well, if she went to the city earlier, she would have lived.

Interesting finale. So in the end, nothing was resolved... just set back to square one. I think... I like it? I don't know.

We finally know that there are two sides, doctor and a priest. Police probably wont get involved unless someone screws up with their cover up. Lol they still think it is an epidemic.

I'm looking forward to rewatching this in one piece. I wonder if it will improve or fall from grace. It is a pretty good series and a breath of fresh air after all the recent vampire canoodling.

I liked this show, partly because I considered it havign a neutral tone towards the factions and how it put emphasis on several different characters. Also, the message of the show might be more "violence is bad" rather than "what measure is a non-human".

What really bothered me in this show was the stereotype of stupid villagers that can't seem to think for themselves and they rather believe any stupidity than the truth, I have a feeling that if it wasn't for this stereotype the show would have been much more successful, that, and the ridiculous hairstyles.
