I just watched the first episode and it was quite meh. Looks like a higurashi clone.

I re-watched Higurashi out of pure greatness of that show :] love it ;]

i won't compare Shiki till it's plot reveals more stuff.

It was just good according to my opinion but ok everyone has his own cup of tea

Still im quite enjoying the show looks like got nice crooked storyline ahead and interesting characters, but im bit unsure like the Anime style can't say i don't like but its something. Hope the storyline good as this is my darkhorse pick for best anime of the season.

Well the Daughters Eyes as well as the mother eyes remind me of that of a insect, but if there corpse Daemons fair enough.

I just finished the three eps of Taka's. Definitely going to follow them, amazing quality. Then again...not really surprising. I only picked this up because Taka was subbing it.

The show could be good although using vampires as the threat and then telling us reveals quite a bit. It was be far more engaging if we didn't know who were doing this.

Oh, and:

Only in anime will you ever find such ridiculous hair.

Episode 7: The doc is really piecing things together now.

All in all, I had some small reservations about this show in the beginning but once you look past some of the small annoying factors in it's animation style and focus on the story, it's pretty damned good so far. It started off really really slow and even though I know what the basic premise was about I was still a bit confused as to how things would begin to pieced together by the various characters. I give the writters two thumbs up for eps 1-7. Here is hoping 8-22 can stay the course.

Megumi is kinda much better as a vampire, that role fits her better :]
