I am confused about the banned anime/manga list.

Well i was just thinking of upload Devil May Cry but then of cours i check the banned list and it is not there :P
then to be sure i check out the forum and get this http://forums.bakabt.me/index.php?topic=23844.0
i just don't get it it is ok from BakaBT that i upload it but when looking at the forum it is not  ???

And a second question is whats up with the Licensed Series that is not allowed to be uploaded is it becous BakaBT will get a law suit or get shut down or something  ???

i will be happy for all answer  ;D

The Blacklist is not always up to date. Its better to check ANN as it lists all the companies involved with each production.

The list is there because those companies are known to actively police the distribution of their products. As such to avoid raising alerts and avoid C&D letters BakaBT takes them down early. This way the site is kept 'under the radar'.

So as blubart put it. Yes. To avoid lawsuits.
