Screw this game and it's freakin' engine. I spent an hour grinding, and I'm still stuck at the same part. Honestly, it's easy and fun, but you gain 1 stat point per level, and I'm needing over a thousand experience points to level. This game is just so GRAW. Coulda been WAY better. Makes me wanna toss my DS into the wall a lot. At least Strange Journey has a dungeon crawler vibe to it. SO yeah, I'm just going to sit here and type my anger out calmly, though I have a feeling before I've saved these 3 workers from demons, I'm going to have to save my DS from an open window.

So. Any of you play(ed) the game, or it's successor? Maybe the MMO?

Uhmm I think my strategy was not to focus on stats, but on getting new demons.
Plus, besides putting a monster that can heal on every party, I also make one of the main characters a dedicated healer.

I sticked to it to the very end, and IMO, it's worth it. I might even replay it some time down the road 'cause I didn't get the character I wanted

LOL I'm mainly angry that I can only assign stat points to the MC. If I could JUST do it to the Kobold you're given, I'd be happy. But Noooo.

Both times, I've been stuck in the same place. Demons have been my focus too, but it's really annoying at times. Especially the fusion. I've yet to figure out the algorithm.

But I think what makes me the angriest, is how I can make demons with high stats in one area- All I need is 1-2 levels with the MC.

I always die MULTIPLE times in boss battles. There was even a time where I spent more than half a day trying to come up with a strategy to beat a stupid boss.

As for the other character`s stats, they simply have some sort of `nature`in them. They`re either a caster type or a strength type.

And the fusion, I never figured that out. It`s always trial and error for me. I can`t remember very well, but I think if you fuss a strength type and a magic type, you`re gonna get something that is decent in both. One thing I know for sure, elemental monsters are pretty useless. I just use them as a cannon fodder in boss battles that has a dominant element in them.
