I can't actually believe this would've happened in Germany. In some crazy, overly religious county somewhere in the boonies of the USA, yes, but here in Germany? Was zum Geier?
On the other hand, we HAD families seeking asylum in the U.S. because biology lessons in Germany include evolution and sex and they were so overly religious that they wanted to keep their childs away from school and these "dangers". When the police came to get the children, the parents sought asylum in the U.S. because they felt their religious freedom was threatened.
Yup, we have these people here as well. It's not an american phenomenon.
