Can't Download/Upload at all
« on: July 19, 2010, 06:20:25 AM »
I just registered, and downloaded a(healthy) torrent.

It just sits there. Nothing happens, it doesn't even seem like it starts properly.

Is a specific program required? I'm using Utorrent, if that matters.

Something like information matters

utorrent version

utorrent error message (tracker status)

torrent

And read the Wiki.

Just to be preemptive, you're likely not using a version of uTorrent that's on the whitelist.

I am having the same problem, I don't get an error message but I am using version 2.0.3

But this is neither white listed or black listed.

But this is neither white listed or black listed.

Something that is not on the whitelist is implicitly not allowed.

Something on the blacklist will never be allowed.

So, in case it wasn't obvious, not everything is on either the whitelist or blacklist. Actually, most client versions will be on neither, especially very old or very new versions (and 2.0.3 happens to be very new).
