before the iphone there was emptiness. . .they did revolutionize mobile phones, I know they didnt invent the touchscreen and stuff, but they packed it up nicely for the market, after the iPhone all the other touchscreen phones with only 2 or 3 buttons started appearing. so revolutionary it is.
Ok yes, I'll agree with the original iPhone, iPhone 3G, and maybe even the 3GS. But in this day and age with so many amazing Android smartphones, I think Apple's slogan for the iPhone 4 of "this changes everything" is a bit far-fetched. Don't get me wrong, I like the iPhone line and the doors it has opened for the smartphone business, but I just feel that Apple is sorta dropping the ball as things progress. Essentially i was terribly disappointed by the iPhone 4, and on top of that, I'm mildly peeved at how much Apple restricts their devices.
The biggest thing that annoys me is how people ask me if my phone is an iPhone, and when I reply that it is actually something else, they automatically assume that it is inferior or a waste of money.
that wont ever change.
the good: an app cant make it to the app store until it clears ALL the tests that apple wants. An apple must be perfect in order to be sold. if it crashes. . .well go to hell you cant sell that in the app store. Same thing goes with macOSX, they lost so much of the business because steve jobs has always been too much of a perfectionist. (are you a virgin!?) . . .such extents make apple so magnificent, expensive, and have low share in the market.
Although with the iPod the company came back up.
Android is like windows, anyone can develop any app and sell it or give it away. . .I mean you can download "beta" and "alpha" versions. I mean you need an antivirus for your android phone. . .nuff said.
anyways. . .I do like android just as I like windows, but I think mac's perfectionism has put it where it is.
