It's not gonna be out in a few days, but if the leaked information is true, I wouldn't recommend it unless you feel you have to have a QWERTY keyboard. The Droid X or Droid Incredible are already out and they have better specs if the currently posted details are correct. Then again, rumors have a way of being false.  :)

Since Android is slowly coming around to having swype on all phones, you might consider skipping the qwerty keyboard altogether.

I use one of these.
(click to show/hide)Yes, in those covers.
Not anything to complain really. It's served me well.
Especially in the attention department, there's just something about a big guy with a phone like that that draws attention.
I wonder what it is?  ::)

In a few days? Are you certain? I thought it's going to be released at the end of August.

August 23rd is release date, and I can get it earily with a Corporate buyer account.

In the end Android is going to win this...

Droid has many companies on board making the OS more affordable &  mainstream, and the fact that the android market is completely open sourced & doesnt have that whole "only if we allow it" thing Apple has. Google & Apple have a fun time ahead... The only issue I see in this, is that RIM I feel got caught off guard and released a pretty crappy touch screen (the Storm) & followed it up with the Storm 2 which is just as bad...(shet rlly does strike twice :/)

Also...isnt the screen issue with the iphone 4 just glue from the factory not settling & dissapears after a day or two of use? or something like that...
plus SO much for "Revalutionary" new antenna, didnt they EVER think about the fact people would have to hold it there? :/ lol.
