Upload slow only on BakaBT torrents

I've seeded quite a few torrents from TPB, which usually had me downloading at under 500kB/s, while uploading at 1MB/s, so I expected no ratio problem when I registered at BakaBT.
Instead, I'm having trouble uploading at all.
Only sparingly, I see the upload speed, and when it does appear, it's at a single digit kB/s, and never go over 25kB/s.
I've tried releasing all restrictions on torrent connections on my utorrent to no effect.
I've read a few Wiki articles and threads on the forum, and it says the problem may be a high seeder to leecher ratio (the least seeded torrent is reporting 100 seeds and 35 leeches)
If so, how can I find torrents that will have me use my upload capability fully?
Also, I should mention that I don't think I should download since I'm at 25GB download and 1.5GB upload.

• The best way is to get newer torrents or popular torrents. Browse torrents and organize by leechers and you should get the currently best leeched.
• Build up a healthy stash. If you can't upload very much then build a stash up over time and seed many torrents. 5kB/s on a range of torrents can make a large upload.
• Check the Top 10 for the Top Most Downloaded torrents etc and try them.
• A great way is to check the offers list and download things that you think will be approved from other sites. This means that when its granted and the rush of leechers comes through you already have the files for seeding.
• 1080p and freeleech torrents are usually very popular. Try a few of them as they do not count towards download.
• Most importantly though - Have patience. You can download the world in a week but never watch it all.

I just added Naruto to the torrent list, and should be seeding pretty soon.
Also, Clannad 1080p looks like a great save if it becomes accepted (since its a large freeleech). I'll be watching the thread.

The reason why you are using your upload speed on TPB a lot more, is because it's a "more opened" tracker than BakaBT. BakaBT IS open, but it is nowhere as popular as TPB.

i have the same problem too except that total upload speed of all my torrents never goes above 20kbps and i have around 16 torrents. even torrents where my friends can upload at 300kbps, mine only goes up to 1kbps. is there anyway to increase my upload speed without downloading any more torrents? my ratio is pretty low at the moment......

Seed stuff with less seeds per leech. Pick your stuff carefully.

Your ratio is fine for now. You have a bit of a buffer to download.

As said above, get a ton of downloaded stuff and the upload rate adds up. I have about 35 torrents downloaded and I get 3kb/s seed rate on each which is about my max UL rate.  You can log off, download and then upload if you get a warning <<<< Not sure if that is allowed

I'd recommend you lurk here a little more so that you don't recommend things that you aren't sure are even permitted.  Since most of the responses in this forum are merely copy pasta of previous responses, it's helpful to know what those previous responses are.

That's why I said I'm not sure if it's allowed.  BakaBT is a public tracker though, so I see nothing against it.
