Portable Media Players
« on: July 27, 2010, 06:18:35 AM »
So does anyone here use a portable media player for their animes? Whether it be for MKV, AVI, or the OGM?

I personally use the Ainol V6000HDV 'Alphatrion' to play all my anime on the go. Somehow it supports MKV also...

So what about you guys? What do you use, if you do use one?

If you count my laptop as portable then that one ;)
Otherwise no. Idea converting some anime to my phone has passed my mind though. Screen is just frigging small -.-

ps. I just remembered that my brother watched few episodes with his Nintendo DS.
Thanks Enzie!

a Nokia E63 with CorePlayer installed. The only bad part is that I have to convert 1920x1080@23,976fps to something like 320x240@20fps and hardsub the softsubs, but either than that, everything works great. The screen is a bit small, but i love small text so no problem there. Supports all usual formats... mpeg in avi, h264/avc1 in mkv, etc.
