Viruses... what to do...

And you make it seem like the upgrade would work fine no matter how old the copy of Vista is. Is that the case?

Upgrade key is fine if a corresponding legir vista or xp install is already there. No matter how old, it's fine.

Right, that makes sense. And am I correct in assuming that an upgrade key can be used an unlimited number of times to upgrade an unlimited number of computers, as long as each computer has its own key?
(I worked at a computer refurbishing plant for a few months and decided to keep a list of old XP keys that were on the computers that we wiped, if you're wondering)

I have no idea on that one. I would assume no... but don't quote me on that. I would find it silly you could use an upgrade key more than once. That defeats the point of having a key.

But good point there. On the other hand, though, the second key is always unique...
