I didnt go see Kick Ass in the theater because I thought it was a comedy making fun of super heroes. Boy did they market it wrong.

I just torrented the DVD and man it was badass. If you skipped it for the same reasons I did, go watch it. Its really not what the title and trailers make you believe it is.

PS: I know this is a Anime forum, but I dont give a .... I havnt liked a movie or anime this much in a really long time

And yes, Cage played a very interesting character. Its hard to say if you can call him a good guy or a bad guy.

im surrprised there isnt more hate on this film, couse from all the people iv talked to about this movie, its all been bashing. Myself loved it tho, kinda cheesy and all, but cool caracters and a nice twist on the superhero theme, two thumbs

I found it to be pretty enjoyable. They delivered it pretty well.

Also, Cage as the batman with a shotgun with bad ass loli knife girl was totally worth the money to see it in theaters on it's own.

I keep hearing that the movie is not at all like the trailers made it out to be, ie, that it's actually good. I'm still skeptical that it's worth seeing, though. I'll wait until one of my friends sees it first.

And yeah, If there is a sequel I donno if it will be as good. That kid playing the anti hero just doesn't seem appealing. But I don't think it did well enough in the box office to get a sequel.
