I agree. Why can't we end movies on a high note? Why do we always imply that there is a sequel? The only way a follow up to Kick Ass will be any good is if they do it in the form of a graphic novel.

The unmasking scene really got to me, I thought the bad guys might actually win there. I was on the edge of my seat for the first time since I was like 10. You really couldn't tell what was going to happen next a few times, and it was really refreshing.

And yeah, If there is a sequel I donno if it will be as good. That kid playing the anti hero just doesn't seem appealing. But I don't think it did well enough in the box office to get a sequel.

even some movies that do total shet in theaters get sequals o.o or atleast remakes 10yrs later. Im waiting for that movie "Vampires Suck" FINALLY FINAlly....FINALLY.

Yes...considering alot of Sequel's suck to orig when the stories dont go along.

I like Kick-Ass a lot. Really good, refreshing and enjoyable. The sequel was announced by Mark Miller as a graphic novel which may or may not be adapted into a movie.

never seen it. the comic book its based on was gory as hell tho. plus he gets his balls lit up like a christmas tree.
