Anyways just watched the first one, and at first it didnt seem that interesting but I did like the graphics and idea behind the anime.

Thing that was making not like it that much was that it was the classic nobb jumps into high-tech mech and becomes OP UberOwn the world thing lol

When spoken in Japanese the actual words are "Bureiku Bureido". Hence, Break Blade. The english  copies of the manga were subsequently translated to "Broken Blade" simply because pure english speakers consider "Break Blade" to be another case of engrish gone awry...

Therefore, since "Broken Blade", although is a correct translation to english and thus more pleasing to english speakers, I chose to use the name which is closer to the original and dismiss the english stamp of approval on this one.

I think it actually means "Break the Blade" but thats another story.

isnt japanese like english backwards? for instance.. "i need to go to the toilet." isnt it something like "toilet to go i need." in japanese?

Um they talk how they talk. It may be backwards from your point of view but it's more definitely never "toilet to go I need" either...

If you were referring to there writing system(?), the more traditional writing method would be Tategaki. With that they write there character in columns writing from top to bottom and supposed to be read from right to left. A tategaki style book also opens from the opposite side. i.e. the back of a western book would be the front of a Tategaki style book. But even when this method is in use, no, they don't talk backwards...

Incidentally, they also use a style called yokogaki. It's pretty much the same format your used to. i.e. left to right.
