What am I to do?
Nyamo:
I used to leech a lot, and I mean A LOT compared to sharing. Now, my ratio is 0.066 and if I download an torrent, I can have it on for weeks and still see 0.0%
I've reinstalled windows several times, I've got no torrents at all from Bakabt at the moment. How am I supposed to get my ratio up, if I can't get any torrents downloaded so I would be able to seed them?
relic2279:
Build a time machine. Go back in time and slap yourself for being an idiot. Warn your past self of the idiocy you are about to embark upon. Problem solved.
Disclaimer: Solution may cause migraines, lack of appetite, constipation and should not be used by pregnant women. Also does not cure current idiocy.
Seriously, read the Wiki. Or don't. Here is but just one way:
--- Quote ---Freeleech:
When a torrent is flagged with this symbol, it means leeching that torrent will not affect your download amount and will not decrease your ratio. Meanwhile seeding that torrent will continue to improve your ratio and will increase your upload amount. This is an excellent way to improve your ratio.

Sosseres:
Personal suggestion. Stop using your account. Download as a person not logged in. Then once your account is purged start over (can't login for a long time, not sure how many months). :p

Interesting suggestion, but if he/she does that, there's the problem of not being able to find what he/she wants... i.e. no search function. And it's 11 months IIRC.
Personally I like relic2279's idea better :D
Except that, as a warned member, he/she can't download even freeleech material, unless that rule's been changed recently.
But anyway. At Nyamo:
1. Yes, the Wiki. You know, what you are asked to read when you join the site.
2. If you did (1) properly when you joined, you should have known that sharing is important and thus would have kept a backup copy of your data somewhere when you reinstalled Windows. That is not an excuse.
3. What everyone else said.
4. You got yourself in this mess, get yourself out. The resources are there (again, point 1). Use them, and stop wasting our free time.
