Malware detected - Google Chrome
« on: August 04, 2010, 08:35:53 AM »
Page 2 of this thread got me the following warning in Chrome:

It's probably just someone's avatar, but I thought I'd at least throw this out there, as I'm not sure what I should do. I'm currently using a computer that I can't put to risk (work computer).

This page, linked from the "Safe Browsing diagnostic page" in the screenshot, describes the test results of the website in question.

This page, linked from the "Safe Browsing diagnostic page" in the screenshot, describes the test results of the website in question.
It currently states that the site is "not currently listed as suspicious", so I guess it was flagged by some idiot and got itself unlisted.

FWIW, it was the 404-ing sig image of Mycanid.

Yeah, looks fine now.

Though, according to Google's tests, the site had 6 trojans or something. Not anymore, of course. The page doesn't seem to be matching what I found yesterday, though, like the bit about Google not having visited recently.

Oh well, problem disappeared, I guess. Lock?
