Issues with chrome & PC

Chrome issues:

Everytime I close chrome it dies... so then i use internet explorer, and re-install it... it loads up properly and its usable *like now* but the moment I close it, whenever i load it the browser stops working. it still shows my bookmarks bar, I can access offline pages, but everything else is gone including the history when you open the browser or open a new tab. its really getting on my nerves -.-

Pc issues:

Currently I cant run ANY program and half my firefox extensions are dead because I get this error "Not enough quota is available to process this command"

I've restarted my computer & such. but I still recieve that. I have 4GB of ram and this is a Core2duo @ 2.2ghz  I didnt disable anything like Paging so im not sure what the issue is. All i can say is for 2 days I've kept the laptop plugged into HDMI, running with 4 External Drives (1TB,1TB,320GB,60GB). COMODO only picked up 2 false alarms when I did a complete system scan.

not sure if it would help but i would try to increase temporary and offline file limits, also make sure your main disk isnt almost full^^
other than that you could try restore windows with system restore thingie but i would wait with that and hope someone else have some ideas ^^

I just restored it not too long ago o.e, Some company should make MILSPEC laptops because apparently I need one on the software side of things also.


For the space issues ^ I shouldnt have any.

Run down of the hdd's incase...:
AHD01 - Primary Anime Drive
AHD02 - Secondary Anime Drive *Currently going to start filling
AHD03 - Third Anime Drive *Ment for emergencies, currently has family photos
Primary - HDD in laptop, and obviously the primary one.
Rescue -  It says 99MB, but its actually a 50GB Partition that has the restoration files, etc for the system which attached to AHD03
Not attached:
CWTCH - "Currently Watching" Drive. Has the shows I want to watch the most.

Make sure disk quotas for the primary drive is big enough for your apps to use (you can also set it to no limit or just disable the whole thing)

Also make sure that you do have a pagefile in a connected drive. You may not have disabled pagefile but if it is located on a disconnected drive, the os can't use it.

It's entirely disabled. I was thinking of using it on primary so I can have 20gb+ space at all times so the os doesnt slow down though. Checked other HDD's and quotas disabled there also, paging  also.

The "Not enough quota is available to process this command" does indicate some memory shortage.

Open up task manager and see what's eating your RAM. Firefox and Chrome (and likely IE as well) like to take a lot of RAM, easily over 1GB.

Try reinstalling Chrome.

I do...everytime I close it

EDIT: I fixed the quota issue for about 8hrs but after a reboot, its coming back again.
I checked dxdiag, the pc still registers all 4GB of ram *just incase one died like in old laptop* everything seems to be normal.

perhaps you need to do a virus scan or spyware scan. I think there is something eating your free memory in your ram.

I did so with COMODO, got two false positives (Nexon Game Manager, & PangYa's Updater). Then tried with AVAST, nothing... Not really sure at this point anymore...

Just finished scanning. Nothing...

Clone your drive or backup some files then nuke and do a fresh installation. I don't bother repairing Windows anymore.

Turns out I have no access to my windows folder and I cant end proccess's *Says Access Denied* even after taking ownership of the file. So ill be restoring.... x_x

You're not supposed to install stuff into your Windows folder.

Though I agree that ownership stuff is pretty annoying in Vista or 7, I'm guessing it does more good than harm for their users. It's not hard to take ownership, but a bit tricky if you don't know what you're doing.

I had my system modified...heavily. Like I literally could just right click a file or folder and click "Take Ownership" and thats all it took.

Well I reinstalled, took all day since I did a DoD but whoa is me. I forgot to get my documents backed up. goodie...

Chrome beta is snazzy.
