Fire only kills humans so fast because of the pain and shock. Zombies don't feel that pain. The only thing worse then a horde of zombies coming to eat you, is a horde of zombies coming to eat you, ON FIRE.

Didn't the zombies in ep 4 or something (when they got cut off from the chars in the bus) die in a fire pretty fast? It doesn't matter if zombies don't feel pain if muscle fibers burn or nerves you become incapable of moving. I'd like to think this also goes for zombies, only that they can't die from internal organs missing and blood loss.

Maybe so, in this anime :D. But if RL, it would take some time for the fire to get to the muscle fibers and burn them enough so that the zombie can't move anymore.
