I didn't know HotD had a dub, though. Would it be correct to assume you're streaming it? It doesn't look like a dub has been released in hard-copy form stateside yet.

Nope. I've been downloading them as they come out. Insert Site Here :)

But wouldn't that be direct stea--...........forget it. What am I saying? This is BakaBT. Most stuff on here is stolen anyway.

It's not stolen, there's no license on it.

@Ph4zr I find the abbreviation amusing as well. lol
It does trans-code on the fly. It's kinda cool. You can add Codec's and what not to it as well.
Every file type the PS3 can't play, this PMS Trans-Codes into a format readable by the PS3.
It has a bar on it so you can see what it does while the file is playing along with a log so you can read in depth how it works.
I've only had a problem playing one movie. (Alladin 1080P. Don't remember the format. I think it was FLV.)
I love that movie. lol
Tomoya-Kun is correct. :D

OF course there's no license to Love Hina, K-ON or Clannad. ;)

Really? I wonder why regular encoding is so intensive, then. If I want to rip a *ahem* "non-encrypted" 24m DVD episode it takes around an hour, and re-encoding the 1080p Disappearance raw took me several hours IIRC. I wouldn't think transcoding 720p material would be any faster than a DVD, but I'll have to try PSMS sometime and see if it'll play back in real time.
There actually is a license on it, for the US (and I presume Canada, as well) it's Sentai Filmworks. The main issue is that it's not "theft" because this kind of piracy falls under copyright infringement. The fact that many Japanese companies don't bother filing claims overseas is the main reason it's "okay" outside of Japan. That and the fact that other than Funi, and recently NISA, none of the regional distributors really seem to bother with such claims.
But AFAIK, they actually have cracked down a bit on such matters domestically. At least such is my impression from the few bits you see here and there about helpless little old ladies being sued for uploading One Piece. XD
/why are we going there, though?
