This would be called a, 'Preference' just FYI for you GoGeTa006.
I'm all right with other people's tastes, but some people have none. /jest

I didn't know HotD had a dub, though. Would it be correct to assume you're streaming it? It doesn't look like a dub has been released in hard-copy form stateside yet.
Nope. I've been downloading them as they come out. Insert Site Here :)

But wouldn't that be direct stea--...........forget it. What am I saying? This is BakaBT. Most stuff on here is stolen anyway.

It's not stolen, there's no license on it.

@Ph4zr I find the abbreviation amusing as well. lol
It does trans-code on the fly. It's kinda cool. You can add Codec's and what not to it as well.
Every file type the PS3 can't play, this PMS Trans-Codes into a format readable by the PS3.
It has a bar on it so you can see what it does while the file is playing along with a log so you can read in depth how it works.

I've only had a problem playing one movie. (Alladin 1080P. Don't remember the format. I think it was FLV.)
I love that movie. lol

Tomoya-Kun is correct. :D

OF course there's no license to Love Hina, K-ON or Clannad.  ;)

Really? I wonder why regular encoding is so intensive, then. If I want to rip a *ahem* "non-encrypted" 24m DVD episode it takes around an hour, and re-encoding the 1080p Disappearance raw took me several hours IIRC. I wouldn't think transcoding 720p material would be any faster than a DVD, but I'll have to try PSMS sometime and see if it'll play back in real time.

There actually is a license on it, for the US (and I presume Canada, as well) it's Sentai Filmworks. The main issue is that it's not "theft" because this kind of piracy falls under copyright infringement. The fact that many Japanese companies don't bother filing claims overseas is the main reason it's "okay" outside of Japan. That and the fact that other than Funi, and recently NISA, none of the regional distributors really seem to bother with such claims.

But AFAIK, they actually have cracked down a bit on such matters domestically. At least such is my impression from the few bits you see here and there about helpless little old ladies being sued for uploading One Piece. XD

/why are we going there, though?

Why use skill when you can just spam fireball? /mage <3

@Ketsueki
I don't see a point in converting from 480p to 720p
you could have taken a 720p release and simply replace the audio source or add audio source to 720p mkv, then just check it it's accurate, much easier and faster.

As always, certain people stay certain people. Everything's stolen here. Do we have a license for tracking them here, outside of Japan? No.

I knew nothing of the outside world. I was just a frog in a well.

Well, I mean, don't get me wrong. I love that you guys have titles that are just impossible to find (Paranoia Agent, Dual), but it kind of freaks me out that you guys even put in a thread at the top of the "requests" thread that "Any titles that are currently licensed will not be accepted", yet I see a bunch of titles that have one or two years of being licensed under it's belt. Oh well, though.

Back to fappy time! I mean, High School of the Dead.

I did, and I find on BBT from what is licensed only stuff that companies don't fuss about, everything else is being removed usually, I do not see what is your problem actually.

It takes me about 5 or 6 minutes to convert one file. It's no big deal for me. Plus I don't have to do anything but put it in my converter an walk away. (and if I do walk away put it on high priority) And Come back two hours later and I have about 50 to 60 ep's converted dependent on file size and length. Not to mention as I said, PS3's can not play MKV files at all without the media server. In which my sister doesn't have access to due to the fact she lacks internet capabilities. So in turn I HAVE to convert them in order to put them on a DVD+R.

Really? I wonder why regular encoding is so intensive, then. If I want to rip a *ahem* "non-encrypted" 24m DVD episode it takes around an hour, and re-encoding the 1080p Disappearance raw took me several hours IIRC. If you have a good processor on your CPU there won't be any trans-coding problems. For example PMS takes your cores and runs it off those. You can choose how many you want it to run off of. For example, I run off 8 cores. Which is pretty much guaranteeing no fuck ups. (My old CPU had 2 cores and... it sucked. lol Which was the CPU I had trouble running said movie.)
Also, if you want to put codecs in you have to go to the system file of PMS to do so. For example, I put CCCP into my PMS and configured my personal video/audio/internet settings to my liking. I've also noted that PMS works a lot better with the Slim PS3. (I just bought one.)
I guess I'll explain why right quick for you.

PS3 Slim w/ PMS- Fast Forward and rewind actually work and work well for Anime.
PS3 FATTY W/ PMS- Fast Forward and rewind kinda... don't work well on Anime.
Both work fine on movies. Which when I first started using PMS I had no problems with cause I didn't have Anime on my CPU.

(If you are curious why one would fast foreword on Anime, To skip Intro's.)

none of the girls will die, ever, they will even reproduce making their own copies, preserving beauty :)

as much as most of us hate Rei, she can't die as well, we need mid ranged combat specialist to protect Shizuka and Alice :)
