I have spent a few minutes and been constantly re-watching the preview over and over again.

I noticed something and we are a bit mistaken, Saeko doesn't get the sword, the one in that small shrine is a part of the Buhdda Statue and in the later screens, she uses her wooden sword still.

I don't know where you're looking but I see a katana on the floor beside her leg.

I didn't see a Katana, and at later screens she uses her wooden sword.

Newy's right there's a katana on the floor to her left. Also the part where she jumps with her bokken in hand, altho later in the preview, actually happened before they got to the shrine.

I will permit no defilement of her name.
She just had a moment of weakness, after all cooking for everyone and fighting zombies all night is tiring and she cant help going into matrix mode when people shoot bullets at her.

. I am extremely curious as to how they will animate that aspect.

There is no doubt in my mind that Saeko is a true warrior. I would idiotically and selfishly an hero my life for her and I know that in the hands of my waifu, Saeko, my life would be safe, because she is a 2D girl.

In the next episode you will encounter Saeko in Saya's house, I am very sure that the majority of you will fall in love with her.
