Komuro and Saeko are frontliners, the are close combat fighters, Rei is mid range fighter (spear) Saya, well, she will be more useful, unless the anime will go "shit way" then hell knows what will happen, cuz god will probably drop a ball on this show and leave :P
Hirano is typical ranged fighter, and if they teach Alice any firearms skills it will be mad combo with Hirano at her side XD
nurse can provide backup and scream or something :D

You should always put the weaker ones in the middle not in the back. So it should be Shizuka and Alice in the middle and probably Rei or Kouta in the back. But you should know their formation if you read the manga. And I doubt they're gonna teach a 8-9 year old girl how to shoot a gun, it's just a waste of ammo.

and their formation is most of the time as I shown above, Shizuka is in the back since she doesn't have combat ability, as for Saya, well, we'll see how they will do the next episode.
