I just finished watching.
Good episode but not much action definitely not as good as last week.

Saeko in that yukata was so cute almost as hot as when she's half naked... almost.
I could listen to her talk about katana all day.

They followed the manga closely this week except for adding a few lines and censoring the good gory stuff like usual.

And next week people wondering about Shidou will get their answer.

For sure though, this ep seemed like a push to show that normal social norms are breaking up. Age being used for seniority is no long as big of a factor as it used to be. Status and levels are slowly being erased as well.

I somehow have a feeling Komuro might be learning different weapon styles in the near future.

as a leader he should at least know how to handle some weapon types, firearms and some melee weapons, he knows how to use a baseball bat already, swords don't fit him tho. at least in my eyes, he doesn't hate "it" to use the sword, Saeko on the other hand, mmmm, fits like a glove.

I really liked how he stopped Saya talking just then, she really showed her bad side in this episode, not that I blame her, it was pretty much the same in the manga too, Alice said something really interesting didn't she ? she isn't just a silly little girl anymore, looks like she adapted to the new situation a little, or a lot, I think a small firearm would fit her, maybe a hunting riffle, or something, dunno, she will have to use a weapon eventually, i wonder what it will be ;]

without actual combat experience she wouldn't get far, and being so young she will be vulnerable, and soon things should get really hard, the lever of danger is about to increase, and Zeke when he is quiet he can be quite useful for Alice if she would become a scout, his smell sense could warn Alice of zombies nearby, but in case of zombie infestation, i think melee combatants would be better scouts, they can fight their way silently, rather than shooting, I wonder how this will develop out of the season 1, I think where the manga stops should be the end of season 1, but thats quite a way up, I wonder why manga goes so slow, the chapter 26 left off in an interesting place.

I concur. I don't understand why people think a gun is better for noobs. I think it's more dangerous for noobs to have guns. Stray shots = bad. Alice might not be able to get a kill with a knife per se, but it's still a more safer weapon for her to have. More likely, she'd use weapons to defend against crazy humans rather than zombies. It's easier to dodge zombies, not so easy to avoid crazy humans.  (Recall gas station scene)
