I mean after the wha... the first ep it was clear that the only way they where going to keep this show in demand was adding T&A... is there really a need to discusse T&A?

It was obvious from the promos and trailers before the series even started that it would be heavy on the fan service-even the opening shows you a large amount of it. Not being a huge fan of it, I almost skipped it-but then I watched the first episode, and I am glad I did.
True episode 7 was testing my patience as it seems it has more T&A than usual, but I won't drop it because I knew going in that it had fan service in abundance.

Also +5 to Saeko for being such a badass in a thong.

I wonder if this show will finish the same as The Omega Man starring Charlton Heston, or if it will go all Swiss Family Robinson, and have a happy ending. BUt I suppose it being Japanese, it has to be all nihilistic, and there are no happy endings, except in otaku land.

I was satisfied with these past two episodes (6&7) with the story and with character development.

But, was it in character for Hirano to not get a bloody nose when

If you had breasts in your face for a long time you would begin to used to them as well. Doesn't mean it's any less stimulating, but you would definitely lose a certain amount of excitement over it after a while. Plus, I think he was still in head shot to a certain degree.

and Im wondering if we'll see zombie dogs/cats/birds. . . is there gonna be a Zoo episode?

cool thing I dont know how they're gonna go about the beach/snow/pool episode and the school festival (you know those things that 99.999% Highschool anime's have)

altho I know those are used for fanservice. . .and we're getting excessive already so. . .we might not need them

That is my gripe. Thanks for needlessly repeating it.

We just need a scene where someone slams a grenade into a zombie's mouth in om nom fashion and run away whilst a group of zombies go boom.

If you slammed a hand grenade into a zombies mouth not only would you most likely get infected and subsequently become a zombie yourself, but, I doubt you would be able to run far enough away to clear the potential detonation zone unscathed.

They should just throw the grenade in a direction opposite of where there trying to go. Preferably a parking lot so they can set off a large of number of car alarms to attract the zombie attention away from them for a mile or two.

ANFO the zombies then! cheesh.They must have fertilizer in Japan somewhere. The hardest part would be finding enough fuse.

@ Esueldor, while I agree with that assessment for the most part, Hirano was having nosebleeds over the nurse just a few short hours earlier. He would definitely have to be in the zone. And I am not sure if that is totally realistic for that weapons otaku. Although it is not far off either.

Here is AT-X’s schedule for the week of 9.20 to 9.26. Under 9.20, at 11:30, 学園黙示録 HIGHSCHOOL OF THE DEAD (12). Then there’s repeat airings later. On the next week, the hour long Angelic Layer memorial special replaces Shukufuku and HotD.

So yeah, brace for a hilarious Madhouse original ending.

That sucks, but isnt really unexpected. The manga's only 26 chapters, the last chapter came out in July I think and next one's due in September, that's 26 chapters in over 3 years and I read somewhere it was on hiatus for over a year. So I wasnt expecting them to keep going all year long when the manga's taking so long, but it's still disappointing coz I really love that show.

Hopefully we'll get a 2nd season, not some shitty ending.
