I'm downloading this one from a torrent and i can confirm it is the first gunbuster movie @1080p:

The video come from a 4:3 source, so there are those typical "black bands" on the left and right side.

Oh, right, I forgot they didn't reanimate it for the movie. Might be some benefit to 1080p for Gunbuster, then.
