the only way to know is for some screenshots of an uncompressed m2ts stream which i have never seen.
it's a shame really- this anime deserves a remastered high def 1080p widescreen transfer.   :dreams:

I would like to see some DVD screenshots upscaled to 720p and 1080p to accompany these images. This might not actually even be worth the bluray..

yeah im pretty certain the max res is 720p.  the 1080p looks like an upscale.
