The shower/bath

Well... duh!
It's a mood killer if you are in the middle of it. I hope Proin is referring to taking a shower before actually meeting with the girl. Say, she is expected by 21:00, you take your shower at 20:00.
This is mostly necessary if you are expecting lotsa foreplay, because tongue is involved, and nobody wants to taste each other's greasy body. Otherwise, if you are going for the prize in a 5-min race, say, to... actually conceive a baby, it doesn't matter.

That's exactly like having a fever. High temperatures kill bacteria, like pasteurization, only a fever is more-or-less self-regulated.
Boiling yourself like an egg may help, but it may also cause unnecessary brain damage. So watch out.

thats the point. . .a self induced fever before the actual fever kicks in. . .attack the bacteria before they get powerful enough to try and kill you.
and some lime to add up that vitamin C. . .total WTFPWNZ them bacteria. . .its like sending 10 carriers into a zerg village with 20 zerglings. . .

I'm sure there was a Sex and the City episode about a guy who felt compelled to do that. As soon as he finished he showered. Not very flattering to the girl.

I definitely think a woman who is freshly bathed and smelling of soap and shampoo is much more of a turn-on than the alternative. I personally don't want to smell like flowers, but I'm always attracted to a female who does.
