Actually the BDs reveal quite a lot, there is still a lot of ink but the critical locations aren't covered with it anymore, you can even see loli flats (sounds like an ad for buying some flats

) and the video quality is quite improved.

just the more reason why i shouldn't rewatch with the BD's. the inkblot censorship was what made me give this a perfect 10.

Finished it. Great series. Nice fanservice and your average harem guy with girls with different settings. So my verdict? Two words.

Fucking. Awesome.

I'm currently watching the specials. Man I LOVE fanservice. Jubei's my favorite by far. <3333 Fanservice!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Needs a 2nd season, just for the hell of it. WTB more fanservice!

So based on what I read in previous posts the official bluray version of this anime will be censored, but not as "heavy", or will it be the uncensored one ? If its possible to say, its not released yet afterall.

crrapp.. I accidentally bought this on BD =P I had it pre-ordered through amazon since that put a few items that were linked to it into my gold box... however i wasn't paying attention and the release date came, so they shipped it out.

I need to decide if im gonna keep it or send it back. I had planned on downloading it or checking it out when it got to around 25 bucks or so. The price was about 37 bucks. It would probalby cost me about 5 or 6 to ship it back. Im not sure if thats even worth bothering to send back. Just wondering for those of you who have seen it, is it worth just owning? It didn't look like anything special, but as long as its not total shit i may just keep it. It looked like a mildly amusing action show with a bit of ecchi. Is that what i should expect?

Follow up question btw. I heard that the last episode had 2 versions.. the TV airing and the BD version. Suposedly one was black and white the other was color. One had added scenes to it too. Does the BD have both versions? Or is the whole thing just the regular BD uncut version?

The show is good in overall, has a good artwork and the story isn't all that bad for an echii harem show.
The BD quality is very nice, and worth watching, so owning is a good thing, you just supported the creators which (hopefully) will bring us a second season.

I was just annoyed that i payed so much for it, i wanted it < 30 bucks. Anyone else wanna chime in? Anyone think its not worth it and i should definitely send it back?

I am pretty sure you could DL the scripts someplace, but encoding it yourself is just a waste of time.

You should watch the subbed ones unless the BDs have subs, I don't know their quality though.
And this show has fairly unique characters, putting aside their personalities. The uncensored version is much better from TV version and I find the ink drops to be very good effect. Story is also very nice, but they really have to make an S2

it's a nice relaxed story with interesting characters and setting but nice harem elements. S2 IS NEEDED.

And I like how the harem is universally accepted.

I love this series. The artwork is topnotch and Jubei is the bomb. Very unique art style. The story is very well done as well. I wish for another season just for more JUBEI!

I don't know about a season it, it seemed pretty wrapped up by the end of 1.

It wasn't really finished, it wrapped up the first screen of the story about her brother's actions, but according to what we learned in the progress of the show there are actually countries that are aiming at Japan.

I am hoping for Season 2 to lay more light on that part of the story.

Also, keep in mind that Gisen ( Gittan ) said she would be back as Jubei defeated her. While vague, this also leaves the door open to more.
