I (don't) see dead people
DLTE:
There was this Russian dude in my school who died on his birthday when I was secondary 2. The story was something like his brother bursting into his room on that birthday morning with his mom and a camcorder to record the occasion but instead found the body cold and blue. Died of a heart problem :s
He was a pretty talented guy, in the national youth orchestral and that all jazz.

people die, it's an unavoidalbe part of life. There is no reason to be so reserved when talking about, but that doesn't mean the people in this thread didn't care about most of the people who died.
I cared about the people I listed above, but guess what, I'm gonna die someday too. What's the big deal.

agreed just because we dont view death the same as you doesnt make us monsters. Ide be willing to say more people cry for their beloved dog they had for 10 years dying cuz he got hit by a car then for their 90 year old grandparent

I hope you're not including me in this. I think you’re making a big assumption about the people who’ve posted in this thread so far.
I care deeply about my friends and my family. I had never experienced a death of someone I loved until a few months after I moved out of my parents home for the first time, and then I lost 3 close family members in a span of less than a year, one to suicide. This happened when I was broke, struggling to survive, and living on the other side of the country with no prospect of getting back home to be with my family. Imagine moving out of your parents house during a time when your parents’ marriage is troubled, while your mother is begging you to stay, but you know you’ve got to do it anyway to get some kind of forward momentum in your life. Then imagine your mother killing herself a year later, and think about how you’d feel.
