Welcome to Tiffany's version of the "Murdergame."
This is a party game modeling a battle between an informed minority and an uninformed majority. Players are secretly assigned roles. In the game's "night" phase the 3 killers covertly attempt to "murder" a victim each. During the day phase, all of the surviving players debate the identities of the killers and vote to eliminate a suspect. Play continues until all of the killers have been eliminated, or until the killers have eliminated the townspeople and each other.
Basically you just join and tell me who you want to kill, I'll take care of all the complicated crap. I detailed the rules and roles so you'll know how I'll decide what happens to your victim in the end.
News Reporter: This is a non-player character who will be telling the story, a narrator with a name, if you will. They cannot be killed. They will not be participating in the Town Hall Meeting, as they'll be covering it.
Werewolf: There's a full moon once every 2 game days. This player is a ruthless killer.
A werewolf has a 50% chance to kill their target, no matter who it is. The only exceptions are people being protected by the Doctor or the Sheriff.
If a werewolf is unsuccessful in killing their target outright, their victim will turn into a werewolf as well at the next full moon cycle.
A victim of the werewolf will have a 50% chance of either being a death or an extremely brutal death.
A werewolf cannot kill the one being protected by the Doctor as the Doctor keeps an ample supply of Wolfsbane, but there is only enough to protect one person a night. They cannot protect themselves and someone else.
A werewolf can only be killed by a silver bullet. Sheriff, Serial Killer, Vigilante and Paladin have silver bullets. The Demon cannot kill a werewolf without possessing someone with a silver bullet.
If a werewolf attacks the Sheriff, Serial Killer, Paladin or Vigilante (if they have a bullet remaining), the werewolf has a 50% chance of death. If the werewolf is killed, there is still a 50% chance their victim will turn due to the curse at the next full moon (2 game days).
Alternately, a werewolf can also be lynched. They will not die from the lynching itself and it will be known that they were a werewolf before they are put down with silver.
Serial Killer: A meticulous killer. This player has a trail of corpses in their wake already, over 20 townsfolk have already been killed by this monster. There's only a few now remaining. Will you be able to figure out who it is before you're next?
The Serial Killer has a 100% chance to kill an Innocent, 75% chance to kill Paladin, 50% chance to kill the Sheriff, 100% chance to kill the Doctor. If the Serial Killer is successful in killing the Sheriff, there will also be a 25% 4-way chance to kill the person the Sheriff was questioning, unless they were the one being questioned.

If the Serial Killer attempts to kill someone protected by the Doctor, they will succeed. If the Serial Killer attempts to kill someone protected by the Sheriff, they will instead have a 50% chance of killing the Sheriff or being arrested. If the Serial Killer attempts to kill someone protected by the Paladin, they will succeed. The Paladin can only protect against the Demon, the possessed, or Werewolves.
If the Vigilante chooses to target the Serial Killer the Serial Killer will die. Likewise, if the Serial Killer targets the Vigilante, the Vigilante will die.
If the Serial Killer targets the werewolf, he will have a 100% chance of killing him if it is not a full moon. If it is a full moon, he will only have a 50% chance. If the Serial Killer fails to kill the werewolf, he will have a 50% chance of being killed or turning. If the Serial Killer turns he will play both roles and continue his murder spree on his non-moon nights. A turned Serial Killer will be counted towards a Werewolf victory. The Serial Killer cannot target a werewolf on a full moon once he is turned.
The Serial Killer has a 50% chance to kill the Demon, if he fails the Demon possesses the Serial Killer. If the Serial Killer does not die before the next night then the Serial Killer will return and try again with a 100% chance of success. However, the Demon may find it to be more advantageous to attempt to use the Serial Killer to kill the Werewolf and then have them lynched the next day, as they cannot kill a Werewolf themselves.
Demon: This is an ancient evil spirit that has taken control over its victim's body at the beginning of the game. From this point on, the player will be able to choose a player to possess every day. The chosen player will be possessed during the night and will perform the demon's will. They can have their possessed either kill themselves, or another player.
If the Possessed was an Innocent then opting for their suicide will result in 50% success rate, opting to kill an Innocent player will result in a 50% success rate.
If the Possessed attempts to kill the Priest/Nun, the Possessed will be returned to normal and nobody will be killed.
If the Possessed attempts to kill the Serial Killer, the Possessed will be killed and the Serial Killer's victim will that night will be saved - it will not be known whether the Possessed was actually the Serial Killer's victim that night or if the Possessed was commanded to attack the Serial Killer. Only the Serial Killer will know it was their intended victim or if they were targeted. The Demon might be able to make an educated guess.
If the Possessed attempts to kill the Sheriff, there is a 25% chance that either might be killed, or neither. This will be determined by a coin flip.
Flip 1: Will the possession be strong enough to kill a victim? Y/N
Flip 2: Can the Sheriff or Possessed die? Y/N
Flip 3: Does the Sheriff or Possessed die? S/P
If NO to Flip 2, then the Possessed will be detained over night by the Sheriff and released in the morning when they come back to their senses. Both players will be saved and the news will be kept under wraps. The Sheriff will be informed someone attempted to kill them, but they were able to detain them and discovered they were Possessed, whereby they released them in the morning. The Sheriff keeps this under wraps so everyone doesn't end up thinking he's crazy. Who's gonna believe they were possessed?
Sheriff: This is a Defender role. The player is the town's Sheriff and will be able to detain one person every night for questioning. Their choice will be made public.
Sheriff detains Innocent: Nothing happens. But, the innocent can't be killed that night.
Sheriff detains Serial Killer: There is no serial killing this night.
Sheriff detains Vigilante: There's no shootings this night.
Sheriff detains Werewolf: If it is a non-moon night, nothing happens. The werewolf cannot be killed this night. If it is a moon night, the werewolf will turn and attack the Sheriff with a 50% success rate.
Sheriff detains Demon: Demon can choose to attempt to kill the Sheriff (50% success, but if they fail then they die). Demon can attempt to Possess the Sheriff (50% success). If the Possession succeeds, the Sheriff will kill the Demon's target of choice with a 100% success rate for Innocents, 50% success rate for the Serial Killer, 50% success rate for the Paladin and 50% success rate for the Werewolf and will be unaware they didn't interrogate the Demon. If they cooperate, nothing happens.
-Possessed Sheriff attempts to kill Serial Killer: One will die (coin flip).
-Possessed Sheriff attempts to kill Vigilante: If Vigilante still has bullets, one will die (coin flip). If Vigilante does not have bullets, Vigilante dies.
-Possessed Sheriff attempts to kill Paladin: Paladin dies or Sheriff is exorcised (coin flip). If Sheriff is exorcised, they will be unaware anything happened.
Paladin: This player is a holy paladin who works for the Vatican Section XIII, Iscariot. They are the Church's weapon against the Undead. This is an Attacker and Defender-type role. During the night, this player will be able to choose one person. If the player is possessed, the player is saved by exorcism. The Paladin remains anonymous but the possessed does not kill anyone that night and returns to normal. If the demon or werewolf is chosen, the demon/werewolf, the priest or both may be killed.
Vigilante: Player will be an innocent player who will have a 100% chance to kill up to 2 people throughout the entire game. News of their target's death will appear on the News the following day. If the Vigilante is attacked, they will be forced to use one of their bullets to defend themselves, once they run out of bullets (they start with 2) they will return to being an Innocent Victim.
Doctor: This is a "Defender" role. During the night the player will be able to choose one player to protect. They can also choose themselves, and cannot protect the same target on successive nights. The player they choose cannot be killed that night by the Demon or Werewolves.
Nurse: Innocent player will be assigned this role if there are any remaining at the time of the good Doctor's death. They will take on the Doctor's previous role.
Innocent: There's nothing special about you. You will be able to participate in Town Hall Meetings.
Town Hall Meetings All players will participate in Town Hall Meetings every day. Since there is some seriously fucked up shit going on in this town, it will be decided by popular vote who will be lynched that day to attempt to stop all the killings.
Lynching happens in the morning. Murders happen in the night. What if the criminal got away with murder before the Lynching happened, that would defeat the whole point of the Lynching legislation, to stop murders before they happen! So whoever gets voted to the Lynchers Top Most Wanted List will be held custody at the Town Hall until execution.
A Killer(s) caught by the lynching can not kill that night.. as you know execution is equipped with endless guards especially there to prevent Coin Flip Kills holding cell along with Cookies n Chips.
Active & Inactive Protector/Defender Roles are always moved first.
If someone forfeits the game that is treated as self suicide.
Roles shall not be reshuffled mid game.
*** If the POSSESSED attempts to kill the SHERIFF, there is a 25% chance that Either might be killed, or Neither.
The Sheriff keeps this under wraps so everyone doesn't end up thinking he's crazy. Who's gonna believe they were possessed?
*** DEMON can attempt to Possess the SHERIFF (50% success).
*** If the SERIAL KILLER is successful in killing the SHERIFF, there will also be a 25% 4-way chance to kill the person the Sheriff was questioning, unless they were the one being questioned.

Round 2 has finished. Round 3 is currently recruiting players! Sign ups will end this week at Sunday 12th.I'd like 8-9 participants at least, as gameplay would be better with more. So, I'll try to wait till we can at least fill all the roles. We should be expected to start Round 3 September Sunday 12th.
Just say if you'd like to join.
Roles will be assigned secretly when we start (I'll use a randomizer to be fair). The Story So Far...Day 1Day 2Day 3Day 4
